Quintessential 1920s day dress in incredibly thin and soft silk with bold lavender, orchid & champagne striping, paired with delicate etched mother of pearl buttons adorning the collared neckline, cuffed short sleeves and functioning (!) mini pockets. The pattern takes a funky turn with a mix of horizontal striping on the body paired with vertical stripes on the bottom and up the entire back. Classic flapper girl silhouette with a looser cut and dropped seam around the hipline, along with attached sash ties to accentuate and a center kick pleat in front. Surprisingly modern vibe for a 100 years old dress! No labels, circa 1920s.
• Size S/M (see measurements)
• Silk, paperthin & fluid
• Unlined, semi-sheer in direct light
• Pull on style, buttons on bodice
• Great condition, the fabric is fragile and some of the seams are a little pulled (mainly the bust darts) and there are few tiny holes in the fabric near the hem (see in close-up pic), also some extremely faint watermarking near the hemline. Overall the flaws are relatively minor. Priced accordingly!
• Style No. D3081
